A Chibiyo memorial figurine is a small 3D-printed figurine, about 8 to 10 cm tall, of the dog, cat or other pet you lost. One clear photo of their face is enough, and older photos often work. You see and approve a 3D preview before anything is printed, and it arrives in a gift box with their name on it.
There's no rush. If you're not ready to look at photos yet, this page will still be here.
At a glance
- A stylised chibi figurine (big head, small body), about 8 to 10 cm (3 to 4 in), matte PLA, up to 4 colours.
- 1 sharp photo of their face is enough. You can add up to 4 more.
- You approve a 3D preview by email. 1 revision is included.
- Changed your mind about the preview? Full refund, as long as printing hasn't started.
- Printed, checked and packed by hand in Québec, in a gift box with their name. Shipping included, Canada only for now.
What the figurine is
It's a small decorative figurine of one pet, in a soft chibi style: a big head, a small body, their colours and their markings. It's meant for a shelf, a desk, or the spot by the window where they used to sleep.
It's 3D printed in colour in our workshop in Lévis, Québec. A person then checks it, finishes it and packs it by hand.
It's a keepsake, not a toy. It has small parts and isn't meant for children under 14.
Photos of a pet who passed away
You don't need new photos. One sharp photo of their face is enough to start. Most people only have the photos already on their phone, and that's fine.
- Older photos often work, as long as the face is in focus and you can see their markings.
- You can add up to 4 more: their whole body, a side view, their back, or a unique detail (a white sock, a torn ear, a spot on the nose).
- If your best photo is on paper, lay it flat near a window and take a picture of it straight on, without flash, so there's no glare.
- Keep your originals. Send copies. We never need the paper photo itself.
Your photos are stored in Canada and used only to make the figurine. To create the model, they're sent to Google Gemini and Meshy, which may process them outside Québec or Canada. They're never published without your separate, explicit consent, and they're deleted about 30 days after delivery.

How it works
- Send a photo. One clear photo of their face, plus up to 4 more if you have them.
- See a free chibi image first. Before you pay, you get a chibi image of your pet, drawn with AI, so you can see the style. Then you decide.
- Order, then approve the 3D preview. We email you a 3D preview of the figurine. 1 revision is included.
- We print, check and pack it in Québec.
- It ships to you, anywhere in Canada, with tracking. Shipping is included.
AI helps us draw the chibi version and build the 3D model. A person checks every model, and you approve the preview before printing. The full steps are on How it works.
The preview you approve
Nothing is printed until you say yes to the 3D preview. For a memorial piece, that matters: small details carry a lot of weight.
Look at the eyes, the ears, the colours and the markings. If something feels off, tell us. One revision is included.
If the preview still doesn't feel like them, you can say no. You get a full refund as long as printing hasn't started.
The gift box with their name
Every figurine is packed by hand in a gift box with your pet's name on it. It's included in the price.
The first 100 figurines (#001 to #100) also carry their engraved founder number. It's never reissued.
Honest limits
We'd rather tell you now than have you feel let down later.
- It's a stylised chibi, not an exact replica. The head is bigger and the body smaller on purpose. The goal is that you recognise them, not a lifelike statue.
- Up to 4 colours. Very complex coats (brindle, tortoiseshell, fine ticking) are simplified into a few clear patches. The preview shows you exactly how.
- It's small: about 8 to 10 cm (3 to 4 in).
- It doesn't hold ashes. It's a solid figurine, not an urn. Many people place it next to the urn instead.
- Canada only, for now. We don't ship to the United States at launch.
- Once it's printed, it's yours. Because it's made for one pet, we can't refund a change of mind after printing. If it arrives broken or defective, write to info@chibiyo.com within 14 days with a photo, and we'll replace or refund it.
Price
Founders price: $79 CAD for the first 100 figurines (regular price after that: $89 CAD). Shipping in Canada and the gift box are included. Final price: no tax or fees added.
The shop opens soon. In the meantime, you can create the free chibi image or join the waitlist on our home page.
Take your time
Some people want a keepsake right away. Others need months before they can look at photos. Both are normal.
If the grief feels heavy, you don't have to carry it alone. In Québec, Info-Social 811 is free, confidential and open 24/7, and grief is one of the reasons you can call. For more gentle ideas, see how to remember a pet who passed away.
FAQ
Can you make a figurine of a pet who has already died?
Yes. One sharp photo of their face is enough, and you can add up to 4 more.
My pet is still here, but old or sick. Should I wait?
You don't have to wait. Some people prefer to make one while their pet is still napping on the couch, from photos taken today. One clear photo of the face is enough, and you can take it at your own pace.
My photos are old or not very good. Will they work?
Often, yes, as long as the face is in focus and the markings are visible. You'll see a free chibi image before paying, and you approve the 3D preview before printing, so you can judge for yourself.
What if the preview doesn't look like my pet?
Tell us what's off. One revision is included. If it still isn't right, you can refuse it and get a full refund, as long as printing hasn't started.
Can the figurine hold some of my pet's ashes?
No. It's a solid figurine, not an urn. Many people place it beside the urn or the box of ashes.
Do you ship outside Canada?
Not at launch. We ship anywhere in Canada, with shipping included.
